Speed Project

Where We Work – The SPEED Project

The SPEED Project operates across Nigeria, with a focus on national-level data analysis and policy advocacy to improve maternal and child health outcomes.

Our work is implemented through:

  1. Federal Level Engagement
    • Partnering with the Federal Ministry of Health (FMoH) to integrate stillbirth data into national health policies.
    • Collaborating with key government agencies, including the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA) and the Federal Ministry of Women Affairs, to drive policy reforms.
  2. Community Engagement
    • Partnering with civil society organizations (CSOs), faith-based organizations, and media to raise awareness about stillbirth prevention and maternal health.
    • conducting advocacy and action planning activities to drive multi-sectoral approach to stillbirths’ data use in Nigeria.

Through our nationwide approach, the SPEED Project ensures that stakeholders at all levels are equipped with the right data and policies to reduce stillbirth rates and improve maternal and child health outcomes in Nigeria.
